Adorned with intricate patterns walls, mosaic ornaments, hundreds of fine openwork columns - this appears Mosque of Cordoba today. Many centuries ago, the site was an ancient Roman temple, then it was replaced Visigoth church, and appeared in 785 Mesquita. It has become the second most important mosque of the planet, and the pilgrimage to Cordoba even equated with mandatory for every Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. But then, Catholics have changed the Moors, and the Mezquita was converted into a Christian church.
